A.E. Weisgerber (1964 –  ) was born in Orange, New Jersey to middle class parents. A writer, teacher, and editor, she has been awarded First Place for Features Writing from the Society of Professional Journalists, a Reynolds Journalism Fellowship from Kent State University, and a poetry scholarship from The Frost Place.

Her writing appears in 3:AM Magazine, YemasseeDIAGRAM, Berfrois, The Alaska Star, SmokeLong Quarterly, Matchbook Lit, and Zoetrope Cafe’s Story Machine. Her stories have been nominated for Pushcarts, Best of the Nets, Wigleaf Top 50s, and Best Small Fictions.

She is Associate Series Editor for the Wigleaf Top 50 Small Fictions annual listing.
